Funding Results
In 2010-2011, the CMF was able to provide over $337 million in financial support to the Canadian television and digital media production industry. This investment in turn triggered over $1 billion in activity in Canada's creative economy.
Experimental Stream
42 innovative production projects were selected, and received $21.3 million in funding.
Convergent Stream
452 convergent projectsThe CMF provided $288.3 M in funding for the production of over 450 convergent projects, generating almost 2,500 hours of new content.
Program Administration
89% more applicationsThe CMF Program Administrator/Telefilm Canada received a total of 1,876 applications, an increase of 89% from the previous year.
